Many people have no time (or desire) to read long study reports, and, yet, they are genuinely interested to learn more about Orthodoxy in America and/or expand their church experience beyond “fish-bowls” of their own parishes. If you are one of those, then you will, probably, enjoy the essays posted here. Each essay is like a mini-report covering particular church-related subject and each is composed in the same manner: a number of questions which are followed by short and simple answers. The essays #1 through #5 were written in my former capacity of the Research Coordinator for the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the USA.
